If you would like to own an original David Evans print, please contact us. Each piece is unique and requires personal care and attention, and as such there is no online purchasing available.

Depending on the piece, David’s preferred choice of photographic media are;

  • Fujiflex Crystal Archive
  • Canson Edition Etching Rag 310gsm
  • Epson Signature Worthy Premium Lustre 260gsm

Fujiflex Crystal Archive is particularly used for David’s colour panoramic prints. Fujiflex is a silver halide colour printing media with enhanced digital exposure suitability, and is the gold standard for colour archival photographic prints. Furthermore, because of its PET (Polyester) base, this printing material produces prints that are superbly smooth with a sharp, transparent super-gloss finish. Fujiflex photographs appear three dimensional – similar in visual characteristic to Ilfochrome (Cibachrome).

Canson Edition Etching Rag is David’s favourite media for B&W pieces. It is a 100% cotton Fine Art paper with a smooth texture, reminiscent of the original genuine etching and printmaking papers. The paper has the purest white tone available on the market, without any Optical Brightening Agents, also called OBAs. Optical Brightening Agents are artificial brighteners that deteriorate in time. Canson Edition Etching Rag offers a high paper shade stability and a resistance to ageing by using natural minerals.

Some colour pieces are best suited to Epson Signature Worthy Premium Lustre. This super-high-quality media has been optimised for Epson Dye, Archival and UltraChrome ink to ensure high resolution prints with accurate colour. It is fast drying and incorporates a resin-coating (RC) that supports maximum ink coverage with a high D-Max for intense lifelike images that rival those of traditional silver halide output.
